Eleven years on the client’s side of the table.
For the past decade I’ve built consumer brands for a living. In 2015 my twin brother and I co-founded Twin Sails Brewing in Port Moody, and a few years later I helped start the Boxset Collective, the Vancouver hospitality group behind Published on Main, Bar Susu, and Mama Said Pizza Co. My side of it was always the marketing: strategy, budgets, campaigns, and every relationship that kept seven brands moving at once. Along the way, Published on Main picked up a Michelin star and was named the No. 1 restaurant in Canada.
This year my family and I moved to Vernon, where most of our family lives. Our second daughter arrives this fall, and we wanted to raise our girls closer to family and a little further from the city. I hired and trained my own replacement before stepping away from the day-to-day, and I remain an invested partner in the businesses. What I’m looking for now is the next chapter: doing the work I love most, on a team, here in the Okanagan.
