Eleven years on the client’s side of the table.

For the past decade I’ve built consumer brands for a living. In 2015 my twin brother and I co-founded Twin Sails Brewing in Port Moody, and a few years later I spearheaded the launch of Boxset Collective, the Vancouver hospitality group behind several beloved establishments, including Published on Main, Bar Susu, and Mama Said Pizza Co. My side of it was always the marketing: strategy, budgets, campaigns, and managing the relationships that kept seven brands functioning and growing. Along the way we received several awards and recognitions. Most notably, Published on Main picked up a Michelin star, was named the No. 1 restaurant in Canada and ranked 17th in North America. Bar Susu won Best New Restaurant and received a Michelin recommendation. Twin Sails Brewing took home Innovator of the Year twice and won many beer awards.

This year my family and I moved to Vernon, where most of our extended family is located. Our second daughter arrives this fall, and we wanted to raise our girls closer to family and a little further from the city. I recently hired and trained my replacements before stepping away from the day-to-day at our companies while I remain an invested partner. What I’m looking for now is the next chapter: doing the work I love most, with a great team, located here in the Okanagan while spending a little more time with the ones I love most.
